“No mountain is ever to high … for the Mythos Team”
Wow.. where do we begin with Mythos Weddings!
Carol, Athina, Vasilis and Dimitra really do make the most amazing team. Each with their own part to play, their own cog in the wedding wheel – then all coming together to create which was the most magical of days. My fiancé Sam, and I, started planning our wedding back in 2018 when we got engaged. We were looking around many Greek islands and many planners before we stumbled across the GEM which is Mythos Weddings. With such beautiful venues, amazing communication and a clear understanding of our vision, there was no doubt in our minds from the very start that we had made the right choice for our big day. Carol and Athina had a clear idea of our vision from the very beginning and this came to life on 29th July 2021, our amazing wedding day. We were one of the many couples that unfortunately had to have our wedding postponed due to the pandemic, but Carol and the team honestly couldn’t have made this experience any easier for us. The team were so supportive of whatever decision we made throughout the pandemic which we cannot thank them enough for, as it made an incredibly stressful time A LOT easier to deal with – and for that we will be forever grateful. Fast forward to 2021 and the big day was ahead of us. The pandemic clearly had not disappeared a year on, but again, Carol and the team were simply amazing throughout the whole journey and this time, it was a close call (!) BUT we are so happy to say we got our big day and it was everything we had wished for. Being a bit of a control freak when it comes to planning, I thought I was going to be a nervous bride on the day but I honestly had no worries at all from the moment I woke up, and I think is a true reflection of the trust both Sam and I had with Carol, Athina and the team. The attention to detail and planning of the day was completely seamless, from the photographer in the morning to the cars / coaches arriving in the afternoon (we chose a hotel 45 minutes away from our venue – completely our idea!) but again, no problem (or journey!) was too big for Carol, Athina and the team to handle. Upon my Dad arriving and I, Carol was there to greet us and handed me the most beautiful flowers and playing was a special song for my Dad and I that I had requested to be played at that precise moment. From that point onwards I knew we were in for the most incredible, perfectly organised day. Agrilia Chapel, our first venue, was decorated so beautifully. Everything was perfect – the views, drinks, chairs, flower arch, music – the lot. Moving onto the second venue, I think our guests ‘wows’ and one of our good friends shouting ‘Well how can any of us ever top this?!’ at the top of his voice says it all. The venue, St George’s, looked breathtaking. With candles, fairy lights and white long stemmed roses hanging from the top table – it looked and felt magical. All in all we had the most perfect day and we wish we could re-live it all over again. This is all down to Mythos Weddings, Carol and the team – and we are so grateful to you all. We know our wedding journey was a whole year longer than you planned but we honestly cannot thank you all enough. As my Dad wrote in our guestbook ‘No mountain is ever too high’ and this is definitely applicable for the Mythos Wedding Team. We wish we could do it all over again.
